Blowing glass on Adobe's website
"Hey can we shoot you for..."
Occasionally I have visitors in the studio to observe glassblowing. Visitors have ranged from collectors to gallery salespeople to a local art school class. But a couple months ago I was asked to participate in a shoot for Adobe where their photographer would be shooting both stills and video for use in a new website for their Lightroom product. The photographer was surprisingly comfortable in the studio (some people are uncomfortable with the heat or danger) and got some great shots and footage. And lo and behold, a few months later, I end up blowing glass on the Adobe website. You don't see my face, but a few people emailed me because they recognized my work.
